Beyond bookkeeping, I enjoy giving back by volunteering with the Mercy Hospital Foundation, teaching Basic + Intermediate Microsoft Excel courses for NWACC (the local community college), exploring the Greenway, and trying out new golf courses in the area with my husband, Ed.
...and in case you were curious, I was one of the first 10 women to fly the SH-60B helicopter on the West Coast and did 2 tours to the Persian Gulf (mid to late 90's). I finished my career in the Navy working for the Secretary of the Navy in Washington DC.
